Licking County was formed in 1808, but was officially but wasn't officially incorporated under the State of Ohio until 1833. The county is made up of five major cities: Heath, New Albany, Newark, Pataskala and Reynoldsburg, as well as a number villages and township including Granville, Alexandria, Utica and Johnstown.
