Book Nook

The Book Nook served Newark for almost 40 years, after its establishment in the early 1970's. The book store was located at 225 South 21st Street. The Book Nook was known for its wide selection of new and used books, along with some collectors’ items. The Book Nook closed on April 1, 2012 due to the owner's failure to secure a buyer, forcing her to close the business in order to retire and spend more time with her family.[1]
