Rose Kaseman (November 26, 1912 - July 21, 1997) was a watercolor painter from Toledo, Ohio. Her interest in art began when she attended Toledo University in the 1930s, but she had to drop out to support her family financially. Kaseman then worked an advertising job at LaSalles Department Store in Toledo. Eventually, she became art director, designing the layout of newspaper ads for the same store. After moving to Newark, Ohio with her husband, Arthur, to begin a repair business, she continued to work on her watercolor paintings for The Advocate’s “Scenes from Yesterday.” Kaseman had six children.
