Ollie Armentrout

Ollie Armentrout (September 27, 1915 - October 20, 1994) was a master craftsman. He was known throughout the United States for his work reproducing antique furniture with his wife, Viola. At age 16, he was introduced to woodworking, though he was completely self-taught. In 1937, he and his wife began the business in their basement. Viola worked to refinish the furniture. Ollie was known to spend 100 hours a week on his craft.
