Kathy Anderson is an artist from Cincinnati, Ohio. She has had many art exhibits around Licking County and has participated in numerous art festivals. Her exhibit at The Works in Newark, called “Carpe Diem: Landscape Paintings by Kathy Anderson,” included art inspired by Licking County and other American landscapes as well as Anderson’s own world travels. Her exhibit was the last at the Work’s old gallery location on Second Street. Anderson is one of three local artists whose work is displayed across the Newark elementary schools.
