Willis Fravel established the L. Eileen Sannan Fravel Museum in 1970, after the death of his late wife, Eileen. The museum, located in Croton, teaches the history of farming and agriculture. Willis always had a passion for teaching throughout his life. This passion continued after his death, as his surviving wife, Ellen Fravel, has chosen to continue his legacy and keep the museum open. The most beloved museum attractions are the newspaper clippings and mementos that hang upon the walls. A guestbook remains that dates completely back to the museum’s opening day.[1]
