Albert Ashbrook was born in 1930. A Pataskala farmer by trade, he was appointed to the board of the Licking County Commissioners Office in May 1988 where he set about a number of capital improvement projects and facilities upgrades [1] He is a graduate of Alexandria High school, and he married his wife Shirley in 1954. Together they had five children. [2] He retired from the board in December 2004 and died May 31, 2005 at the age of 74. [3]
