The Brownsville Inn, or otherwise known as the National Trail Schoolhouse Inn, was built around the year 1900, and originally served as a school for grades 1-12. In 1949, the school closed and the building remained vacant for many years. On June 24, 2001, the Brownsville Inn was opened as a bed and breakfast. The building is still located off of Ohio 668 in Brownsville. [1]
