- 1992 A single engine Piper Saratoga airplane crashed in a field near Lake Drive in Heath, killing all three passengers on February 14, 1992.
- 1998 Crawford Barn is dismantled in January. It was reassembled at the Longaberger Homestead on the weekend of September 5-6.
- 1999 A Piper Navajo airplane veered off the runway at Newark-Heath Airport, crashing into a snow bank on January 11, 1999.
