Brown School, Lima Township
The Brown School served as a school during the late 1800s to the early 1900s. It was located in Lima Township, at the southwest corner of the intersection of Ohio 161 and Mink Street. After it ceased to be a school, the school became a home. Unfortunately, the building was completely destroyed in a fire. Fun fact: a desk from the school had the names of all of the teachers etched on it, who were all from Jersey. [1]
