Ken Wells has been a woodcarver since he was 8 years old. That year, his parents got him hand tools for Christmas after realizing his interest in theater set design. Wells attended college in Tennessee, majoring in art. After that, he worked in carpentry for ten years, all the while dreaming of opening his own business. He finally did, and is very successful, working on commissioned pieces. Wells is married to Amy Sylvester, a Granville native.[1]
