Eric Turner was selected as the grand prize winner of a contest for Wizard Magazine, a Marvel comic book company. His drawing was chosen to be in the X-Force issue 129 in 2003. Though he had to buy the comic himself and sign his rights to Marvel, he got the original drawing by the comic artist, Mike Allred. In 2003, Turner was in school to become an art teacher. [1]
