Russell Merritt (June 17, 1957 - present) donated two of his ink drawings to the Lend-a-Hand Artist Group, which helped to raise money for veterans in 2009. Merritt is himself a disabled Navy veteran, losing most of his hearing in his left ear due to machine-gun firing and engine noise. He is also head of outreach for Licking County Arts and is currently employed teaching art at COTC. [1]
