Kathleen “Kay” McLaughlin (October 25, 1909 - May 14, 1982) was a portraiture artist. In 1992, her former daughter-in-law, Betty, began to recollect McLaughlin’s paintings after the artist’s friend told Betty she sold one of the paintings. Betty’s former husband is McLaughlin’s son. During her lifetime, McLaughlin painted two landscapes, both for Betty, but she preferred portraits. [1]
