Mildred Jackson (May 29, 1906—August 18, 1999) was a porcelain doll maker from Licking County. Jackson’s work was incredibly detailed. She made every piece herself from pouring the liquid clay to the painting, clothing sewing, and stuffing of the body. She was married to Garrett Jackson and had six children. </ref> Debbie Ridenour, “Dolls aren’t just for little girls,” Newark Advocate (Newark, OH), Jan. 21, 1992. </ref>
