Carolyn Harper was an artist from Granville, Ohio. In 1985, she won second place for watercolor in the Expressions art show in Pennsylvania. Her work was shown in many galleries as well as the Ohio State Fair. Courage Cards Company contacted Harper to do a winter scene, her favorite subject to paint, for a greeting card in 1990. Harper was president of the Licking County Art Guild, and her husband, John, was president of the Licking County Art Association. Together they had five children. [1] [2]
