Joyce Dupler (November 1, 1936 - May 10, 2011) was a Newark painter and art teacher. She enjoyed painting watercolor landscapes, flowers and butterflies. She attended Ohio University, and after graduation, was married to Wayne Dupler. Together, they had two children. She worked for Newark Schools as an art teacher and displayed her work in local shows. Dupler was awarded first place in painting at the Zanesville Art Center in 1978. After her husband’s death, she dedicated one of her exhibitions to him. [1]
