Licking County Buildings and Savings Co. was founded in the early 1900s at 14 N Park Place. The bank eventually became the Bank First National and moved to the building on 42 North Third Street in Newark, which was completed on November 30th, 1956. [1] The bank became the location of Huntington Bank before it ceased to operate as a bank. The building became used by Newark Development Partners until 2017.
