ThisWeek in Licking County was first published in October 26, 2003. The paper is dedicated to bringing the newest plans of development to the residents of Licking County. Each week the newspaper would list new plans for businesses, whether it meant bringing new ones in or taking old ones out. The paper has also been responsible for reporting road construction plans. ThisWeek’s first publication reported about April Martin and Melanie Mummey becoming the first women to officially assume roles as a supervisor and detective for the Heath and Newark police departments.[1]
