The Licking Baptist Church in Hebron was founded on August 22nd, 1807 and holds the honor of being the oldest constituted church still active in the county. There are a number of Baptist churches that are spread out all over the county. The Licking Baptist Church in Hebron was founded on August 22nd, 1807 and holds the honor of being the oldest constituted church still active in the county. The next baptist church followed shortly after in September 1808 when the Particular Baptist Church of Granville was organized, later renamed Welsh Hills Baptist Church, which founded the cemetery of the same name.
