University in Granville founded in 1831 under the moniker "Granville Literary and Theological Institute". It was re-named Denison University in the mid 1850's after a benefactor. It is a liberal arts and science college with a 9 to 1 student to faculty ratio and boasts Steve Carrell and Jenifer Garner as alumni. The college grounds in their entirety span 930 acres including dormitories, education and athletic facilities, biological reserve and golf course.
