Harry E. "Roy" Alban was born October 22nd, 1910 in Licking County Memorial Hospital. He graduated from Ohio State University, was an Army veteran of WWII, and co-founder and president of the Sam Alban Furniture Company. He was also the co-founder of the Newark Downtown Association. Alban was also a member of the Republican National Committee and as well as the 76th Infantry Division Association.
