Roland W. Jones, M.D. (October 19, 1892—December 1983) worked most of his life as a physician after serving in the Army during World War I. In 1925, Jones graduated with a medical degree from Ohio State University. Jones was an avid cellist and only began studying art when he was 63. His oil paintings were wildly popular, and at one point in time, 300 of his paintings were on display across the country.
